MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Complete the accounting cycle.
  • Process payroll in compliance with labor standards and regulatory and tax obligations.
  • File accounting documents in an orderly and secure manner, in accordance with the principles of conservation and confidentiality.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, verifying reconciliation between bank statements and accounting entries.
  • Complete month-ends, preparing adjusting entries, financial statements, GST/QST returns, loan repayments, inter-company transactions and bank reconciliations.
  • Identify, calculate and analyze profitability, taking into account direct and indirect costs.
  • Perform related tasks linked to operations or specific management needs.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES TO EXCEL IN THE ROLE AND PROFILE SOUGHT
  • Diploma of professional studies, attestation of collegial studies, collage diploma, in accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Organized and able to manage priorities.
